Bedankt Neil!

More great free advice I have just done the same on an excel spread sheet to send to a customer to target those articles on page 1 to improve traffic, sadly were are not at the stage to boost traffic to the product pages as the site still needs gain some authority to rank for said products. The first time I have heard of google correlate, I will investigate, and on that link I noticed it went to that page (not open new) are ou not worried about visitors leaving your site and maybe not coming back ?Reply-

Thanks for the heads up! Changed it

Thx Neil,
Great value in this one.
At what point do you make the decision to write more content or upgrade existing posts. I have a site with approx 20 blogs so far. Two of them generating the majority of traffic to my site, but both pages dont convert into sales (yet). There more informational on how to get back into sports after injury, than to drive sales.
Is it better (at this point) to write more content as a whole focusing on different key words, or do you think its better to optimize both of these pages the drive conversion into sales?Reply-
Neil Patel
Write more for sure. Would be good for you to start capturing leads as well for when you do decide to monetize in the future.

How about this approach Neil.
Lets say you are selling beard oil online.
You run google adwords to that product/page.
Once you figure out which keywords are performing best.
You start to do SEO for for those keywords .
It might cost you some money upfront. At least you already have valuable data you can use to proceed. What do you think?
Reply-
Neil Patel
It could work, but it isn’t always easy to rank pages that do well on AdWords via organic search.

Solid content Neil! I got a question for you. I’m trying to rank for the keyword ‘clickfunnels review.’ I have 5 other pages on my blog targeting keywords related to ClickFunnels. Should I delete those 5 pages and publish one blog post targeting the keyword ‘clickfunnels review’ plus related keywords/LSI. Thanks.
Reply-
Neil Patel
I wouldn’t delete them. Just focus on creating the best article imaginable for the ‘review’ piece. Research what’s ranking for that keyword and outdo the competition

Hello Neil,
You always say about user experience and write content for users. What if we are writing very good content but our competitor is buying backlinks and getting ranked. You say a good content always ranks but backlinks matter. My question is how to do seo (asking about link building) for a new blog in 2018 as the competition is too high just writing good content is not enough. And I am talking about blog only nothing like company website which is selling services.Reply-
Neil Patel
Keep writing. Start building natural backlinks (don’t buy them!). Start guest posting on popular sites and link to your site. If your competition is buying backlinks there is a good chance that eventually they will get caught and penalized. Just be patient and keep doing things the right way.

Solid stuff. It is interesting how the internet began in obscurity and now has become the mainstream medium generally everywhere. Furthermore its evolution of how we use and perceive this medium and its message. What does this have to do with the keyword formula post? The blending of user experience, connecting to your audience and reaching your audience with SEO practices as if it was a brilliant symphony. Well done, Maestro. Well done.

Google Correlate sounded promising. The results for my keywords around wedding videography were unfortunately worthless – white pages, belly rings, etc. Oh well, probably good for others.

Hi Neil – Thanks for sharing this information. I would like to understand your view on results of Google correlate. I am in travel segments specially in flights and for most of my terms it shows keywords those are not related to my industry e.g. cheap flights with -3, I got below results, my question is how should I derive something meaningful from this
0.9501 cheap flights
0.8864 parts nation
0.8861 resorts all inclusive
0.8854on the strip
0.8800 songs to dance to
0.8799 foods list
0.8772 lenz truck
0.8769 for sale in florida
0.8765 songs to dance
0.8749 good songs to dance toReply-

Hi Neil,
I am working on same formula, but my full focus was using Ahref Keyword Research Tool, then i counter check from Google Related Keyword with “Keyword Everywhere tool". I collect around 13 top search volume keywords and include them by adding new content on those keywords in the article which is ranking already around 30+ keywords. This is a total myth.
As i remember Google said, your article should have all related topics in one article instead of posting related topics in separate post, although it reach thousands of words.
Google Correlation also helped me out. Thanks
Reply-
Neil Patel
I disagree with the idea that “all related topics" should be in one article. Each article should have one specific focus, one focus keyword (and numerous variations/long-tail versions). You want to rank for numerous articles, not just one

Hi Neil, I hope you’ll answer a question for me. I have an online business that’s very local to the city I’m in. People from my city will have low bounce rates and spend long periods of time at my site. People from other cities, states and countries, have high bounce rates and almost zero time at my site. Would it be helpful for my Google rankings to filter out the other locations? If so, how and where is that done in GA? Thank you
Reply-
Neil Patel
No. I wouldn’t filter out the other traffic. But I would focus on creating more content to drive qualified traffic from the local traffic that is potentially paying for your product/service.

Hi Neil, Great post! After you grind it out trying to get your key words in a better position, how much time should you give it before you check to see how they have progressed?

You can check on a monthly basis. It can be tempting to check more frequently but it’s better to be patient
